Demeter e.V. was the first organic association in Germany. Demeter farmers have been cultivating their fields biodynamically since 1924. Due to the circular economy, Demeter agriculture is considered the most sustainable form of land management and acts far beyond the requirements of the EU organic regulation. As a member of the Demeter Association, and together with our partner companies, we follow the ideal lead of the biodynamic farming methods developed by Rudolf Steiner and his successors.
Together with the “Gesellschaft für Permakultur in der Landwirtschaft e.V.”, we are working on spreading permaculture cultivation by introducing it to our producers in the hope of finding more enthusiastic farmers supporting this method.
Thanks to our cooperation with the sustainability consultant Soil & More Impacts, we were able to start a project for climate-neutral fruits and vegetables. The project consists of balancing the CO2 emissions within the company’s value chain by measures such as composting or under sowing, means sowing a second crop in addition to the earlier harvested main crop.
We support the World Food Institute in its commitment for a nutrition transition and work together for an ecological and sustainable agriculture. A special focus is the creation of a nutritional system that works in harmony with nature and provides nutrition for everyone.

The corporate group Dr. Lippert QM offers expertise in all aspects of quality management (particularly product quality and food safety) for fresh fruit and vegetables. Concerning our risk-oriented residue analysis, auditing, quality controls, etc., we rely on the support of our regional and long-term partner.
Sementes Vivas is a supplier and propagator of organically and biodynamically produced open-pollinated seeds in Portugal. In coordination, we would like to facilitate access to open-pollinated seeds due to the relevance of the cultivation of sustainable food. We contribute substantially to raise public awareness on the importance of seeds and sustainable organic farming.
We are supported by the sustainability consultancy from Berlin in implementing the National Action Plan for business and human rights, e.g. with the help of risk analysis and with the creation of a referential standard for social and human rights. Creating a socially responsible supply chain, from the field to the shelf.

In cooperation with the renowned Dual Hochschule Heilbronn, theory topics are taught in a twelve weeks rhythm, and afterwards put into practice in our administration in Meerbusch.
